Greenwich’s ZAC Foundation helps Stamford kids learn to swim safely to prevent drowning accidents

STAMFORD — More than 120 Stamford-area 5 to 9-year-old children are learning swimming and safety lessons this week at the Boys & Girls Club of Stamford, thanks to the Greenwich-based ZAC Foundation.

Throughout the week first responders also helped the kids explore safety equipment, including fire trucks and rescue boats, and campers in classrooms engaged in activities with counselors.
