TZF Co-Hosts Inaugural New Jersey Water Safety Summit

The ZAC Foundation co-organized the first ever New Jersey Water Safety Summit on December 7 in East Brunswick along with the New Jersey Swim Safety Alliance and the NJ Recreation & Park Association.

Dozens of experts and water safety advocates joined together to begin developing a state-specific Water Safety Strategy (NJ-WSS), designed to align with the broader U.S. National Water Safety Action Plan. This is the third state-wide water safety summit that TZF has helped to create.

Executive Director of The ZAC Foundation Megan Ferraro said the event provided the “tools and resources to reduce the rate of drownings” across the state.
