ZAC Foundation Helps Over 100 New Jersey Kids Learn How to Swim
CBS Philadelphia reported on the ZAC Foundation’s ZAC Camp at the Boys & Girls Club of Camden County, where more than 100 kids learned essential swimming skills and water safety measures.
Megan Ferraro, Executive Director of the ZAC Foundation, emphasized that the camp teaches kids how to get in and out of the water safely and what actions to take if they see someone struggling in the water. Safety tips for parents, such as installing isolation fences and door chimes for backyard pools, are also part of the program.
Sebastian, an 11-year-old participant, shared how the camp improved his swimming skills and boosted his confidence in the water.
