Boys & Girls Club Campers Learn Water Safety and Drowning Prevention in Passaic
Nearly 100 children, ages 6 to 10, took part in a four-day ZAC Camp at the Boys & Girls Club of Passaic, fully funded by The ZAC Foundation. The camp taught essential swimming and lifesaving skills to help prevent drowning, which remains the leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 4 and the second-leading cause for those ages 5 to 14.
The program in Passaic split campers into groups, focusing on swimming skills and drowning prevention.
