Orange County Drowning Prevention Action Plan
In response to Orange County’s drowning crisis, The ZAC Foundation brought together leading experts and advocates on July 23, 2025 for a pivotal drowning prevention roundtable at Children’s Safety Village of Central Florida. The goal: to launch the county’s first-ever Drowning Prevention Action Plan.
“Having state senators, representatives, and city commissioners come together at one table really helps develop unique strategies for prevention and for decreasing the risk of drowning in Central Florida,” Megan emphasized in the interview.
